Pressing the right buttons – so that things run smoothly right from the start.

For us, the proof of the pudding is in the eating: That's why students at gat are involved in current projects from day one and can actively contribute to processes.

A colleague takes over the professional and personal supervision for the entire time and is available as a contact person for all questions. The practice-related final thesis is written with us on the basis of current issues in the field of electrical and automation engineering. The best prerequisites for the transition from theory to practice – or for a direct career start at gat.

"When I wrote my thesis, I was already a student at gat. I was then taken on as a permanent employee and now work as a department manager. The fact that we have short lines of communication and flat hierarchies here is not just an empty phrase, it really is the case – that's why it's simply fun here."

Gunnar Sell, head of machine control department

"For me, it was a smooth transition from studying to starting a career. I wrote my bachelor's thesis at gat and was subsequently taken on. Today, I create the software for our projects together with my colleagues."

Caterina Baumann, software department
