New pigging station for long-distance gas pipeline

The long-distance gas pipeline for Eisenhüttenstadt and the surrounding area dates back to 1989. From 2025, it should be possible to carry out intelligent pigging, which will make it easier to cope with high amounts of dust during cleaning pigging. The high dust loads in the long-distance gas pipeline make this new construction necessary. 

Our team at the East branch has been commissioned to plan the entire MSR technology for the MOV control system. This also includes switch cabinet production, the installation of the entire cable system with routing, lightning protection, and lighting on the site. Construction is expected to run from August 2024 to March 2025.
