… of the tents that had already been erected, we were fortunately able to spend a sunny day aside the river Elbe. At the gat stand, in addition to deckchairs and an information stand about us as an employer, there was a sporting challenge: anyone who scored three hits on the XXL dartboard was rewarded with an ice cream. This was a big hit in the weather – the queue was sometimes up to 20 meters long.
The mayor of Geesthacht, Olaf Schulze, and top athletes such as Gerd Schönfelder, Mathias Mester and Frank Busemann also stopped by, threw a few balls or rested for a moment on the gat deckchairs. Many thanks to our colleagues who helped with the set-up and dismantling, looked after the stand and made sure we had so much fun!
